Founder of Pensy Group, Pensy.AI and LoveUSS, and the author of two frameworks — JOIN, for the transaction underneath every interaction, and LoveUSS, for the three presences that decide whether a person feels loved.
Jonathan Duhon is the Lead Consultant and Founder of Pensy Group, a communication and management consultancy working with executives, managers and leaders. He is the author of the firm's methodology, the JOIN framework, and he leads the advisory engagements built on it.
His work starts from one premise: every meaningful interaction is a transaction. You give something, you get something. The reason so many of those transactions fail has less to do with strategy than with the negativity each person brings to the exchange before it even begins. JOIN — Jump Over Individual Negativity — is the discipline of naming that reaction, setting it down, and dealing with the actual trade on the table.
He has since written a second framework, published as Presences & Awareness and shipped as LoveUSS. Where JOIN reads what is being exchanged, LoveUSS reads what a person is scanning for: Does anyone here see me? Is anyone here for me? Am I safe? Understanding, support and security are not three features of a good relationship — they are the lens through which people experience everything that happens between them.
He has been building products around these ideas for more than a decade. In March 2015 he founded WRASK Inc. in the Bronx, New York, and shipped WRASK IT — a mobile app that let people put real questions to trusted advisors anonymously, with the stated mission of connecting people for the purpose of making better decisions. The same thread runs straight through his current work: Pensy.AI, an AI accountability partner that remembers your life, and LoveUSS, which turns a framework read into a promise with a date and then asks how it went.
Under Pensy Group he has also brought the framework into software the firm's clients use daily — Pensy.AI for the accountability that has to survive between sessions, and PensyFile for the documents that hold a business and a personal life together. He writes the Pensy AI Newsletter, read by more than 3,000 subscribers, under a standing brief: help smart people become smarter.
“Our mission is to connect people for the purpose of making better decisions.”
One idea, carried across a consultancy and three products: fix the transaction, and the relationship — commercial or personal — takes care of itself.

Framework One
Jump Over Individual Negativity. Negativity at the individual level is the single largest barrier to effective communication and management — and it is almost always cheaper to remove than the strategy problems teams blame instead.
Framework Two
Understanding × Support × Security = Love
Published as Presences & Awareness. Before a word is spoken, everyone runs the same three-channel scan: does anyone here see me, is anyone here for me, am I safe? Love is not a feeling that arrives — it is three presences, and a person feels loved only when all three are actually present.
And they combine by one arithmetic, which the framework calls the Multiplication Law: they multiply rather than add. A zero anywhere is a zero everywhere, which is why two abundant presences can still leave someone starving — and why every missing presence mints a counterfeit: the Flame without security, the Witness without support, the Caretaker without understanding.
Three laws carry the framework from seeing into doing.
Jonathan writes the Pensy AI Newsletter — on the future of life coaching with AI, accountability, and the mechanics of better decisions — for an audience of more than 3,000 subscribers.
